Product Introduction
YD688 is a high-chromium steel type wear-resistant flux-cored welding wire. The following is a detailed introduction:
• Product specifications: Common diameters are 1.2 mm and 1.6 mm, typically packaged in 15 kg per box.
•    Performance Characteristics: This is a metal powder-type overlay welding flux-cored wire. The addition of molybdenum enhances toughness and hardness, with post-welding hardness reaching HRC 55-60. The deposited metal exhibits excellent resistance to low-impact and high-stress wear.
• Chemical Composition: The main components include C (1.50%), Mn (2.50%), B (6.00%), Cr (17.00%), Ni (1.00%), Mo (2.00%), etc.
• Welding Process: DC reverse polarity is used with CO₂ gas shielded welding. The gas flow rate should be 20-25 L/min, and the interpass temperature is recommended to be maintained around 300°C.
    • Application scope: Suitable for various components subjected to severe wear, it can be used for base welding in vertical mills and is commonly applied for the overlay welding repair of components such as cement precast parts, refractory material extrusion production equipment, mechanical bucket teeth, wear-resistant plates, and screens in coke plants.
