Product Introduction
YD212 is a CO₂ gas-shielded chromium-molybdenum type surfacing flux-cored welding wire. The following is a detailed introduction:
• Chemical composition: Carbon (C) content is 0.30%–0.60%, chromium (Cr) content is ≤5.00%, and molybdenum (Mo) content is ≤4.00%.
    • Specifications: Common diameters include 1.2 mm and 1.6 mm, typically packaged in 15 kg per box.
• Performance characteristics: The arc remains stable during overlay welding, and slag removal is easy. The overlay layer exhibits excellent resistance to abrasive wear and impact wear, with post-weld hardness reaching HRC ≥ 50.
    • Welding process: Use DC reverse polarity. CO₂ gas flow rate should be 20–25 L/min. The dry wire extension length should be controlled within 15–25 mm. The interpass temperature is recommended to be maintained around 300°C.
    •    Application scope: Suitable for components subjected to impact and severe wear. Commonly used for single-layer or multi-layer overlay welding to repair the surfaces of various wear-prone components, such as gears, dredging buckets, mining machinery, coal washing machine cutting teeth, and wear-resistant liners.
