Product Introduction

Features
Weldynasty ER70S-6 is a 500 MPa-class solid carbon steel wire designed for CO₂ or 80%Ar+20%CO₂ mixed-gas shielded welding. It delivers exceptionally low spatter, a smooth and consistent bead profile, and high deposition efficiency. The weld metal has very low porosity susceptibility, and the wire performs well in all positions, providing excellent operator appeal and reliable joint quality.

Applications
This wire is ideal for welding carbon steel and low-alloy steel structures of corresponding strength levels. Typical applications include construction machinery, shipbuilding, automotive fabrication, and petrochemical equipment.

Working Principle
As a solid-wire GMAW process, the electric arc melts the continuously fed wire and the base metal. The externally supplied shielding gas (CO₂ or mixed gas) forms a protective blanket over the arc zone, excluding ambient air and preventing weld defects. Deoxidising elements (Mn and Si) in the wire composition help purify the molten pool, resulting in sound, pore-free deposits. With DC electrode positive (reverse polarity), the arc is stable and transfer is smooth, ensuring consistent fusion and minimal spatter.

Recommended Pairing
MIG torches, MIG accessories, wire feeder, regulators, anti-spatter spray, cleaning tools (wire brushes, chipping hammers), grinding disks, and PPE (welding helmet, welding gloves, fire-resistant clothing).
