YD256 is a CO₂ gas-shielded high-manganese flux-cored surfacing wire. It is designed for single-layer or multi-layer surfacing of parts subject to impact and wear. The wire provides a stable arc, low spatter, easy slag removal, high welding efficiency, and good bead appearance.
Key Features
High-Manganese Deposit for Impact-Wear Applications
The deposited metal is a high-manganese type, intended for parts that are subject to impact and wear, such as crushers, high-manganese steel rails, switches, and bulldozers.
Cost-Effective Repair by Surfacing
Surfacing is a fast and economical method to repair worn or corroded workpieces and to improve wear, corrosion, and heat resistance. YD256 is positioned for impact-wear repair.
Stable Arc, Low Spatter, Easy Slag Removal & Good Formation
YD256 offers stable arc burning, low spatter, easy slag removal, and good bead formation, supporting efficient surfacing operations.
High Welding Efficiency for Single-Layer and Multi-Layer Surfacing
The wire is suitable for single-layer or multi-layer surfacing of various impact-wear parts, improving repair efficiency.
