Product Introduction
HS201 is a commonly used purple copper welding wire that complies with GB/T9460-2008, with the model number SCu1898, equivalent to AWS ERCu. The following is a detailed introduction:
• Composition characteristics: The primary component is copper, with a content of ≥98.0%, and it contains small amounts of tin, silicon, manganese, and phosphorus. Silicon, manganese, and phosphorus primarily serve as deoxidisers, while tin improves the flowability of copper.
• Performance advantages: It features excellent welding process performance, aesthetically pleasing weld bead formation, high mechanical properties, and good crack resistance.
• Specifications and Dimensions: Available in two forms: spooled and straight bars. Spooled welding wire has a diameter of 0.8mm–2.0mm, with 12.5kg per spool; straight bar welding wire has a diameter of 1.6mm–5.0mm, with a typical length of 1000mm.
• Welding Methods: Suitable for various welding methods such as oxy-acetylene welding, shielded metal arc welding, TIG welding, and MIG welding. When used for oxy-acetylene welding, it is typically used in conjunction with CJ301 flux.
• Application Scope: Primarily used for welding copper, such as in steel ingot continuous casting crystallisers, steel mill electrode clamps, conductive rolls, conductive plates, heating elements, copper containers, and copper sculptures.
